It measures capacitance variations between the main electrode and grounding electrode.It can be used for the detection of a precipitation level in liquids and an interface between two liquids as well as for the measurement of substance levels including highly insulating powders/liquids, conductive liquids/viscous bodies, etc.

When a measured substance touches the vibration rod that keeps natural vibration through the vibration element, the vibration amplitude is reduced. This is detected electrically and output through a relay. Powder bodies with a low apparent specific gravity of 0.03 or more can be detected. Substances with variations in specific inductive capacity or electrical properties can also be detected stably.

This level switch is a compact vibration type in consideration of usability. The switch supports even measured substances whose conductivity or specific gravity changes. It is a high-sensitivity sensor that detects substances with an apparent specific gravity of 0.1 or more (0.03 as an option).
